Purpose
Hosted service for monitoring web page changes, selected elements, APIs, and feeds.
Privacy
The service is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany.
The application requires authentication. It stores configured target URLs, custom request headers, observed content snapshots, extracted prices when present, timestamps, user accounts, password hashes, and sessions in a local database volume on the server. Login-attempt rate-limit keys are kept in memory for about 15 minutes.
Monitored target sites receive server-side requests from the service infrastructure. Those requests can include the target URL, service IP address, default User-Agent, Accept and Accept-Language headers, and configured custom request headers.
Session cookies are technically necessary for login and are set with HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict; the Secure attribute is enabled for HTTPS deployments unless explicitly disabled for local/plain HTTP use. Server logs may process IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer, user agent, and HTTP status for delivery, security, and troubleshooting. Recipients are the hosting provider and technical service providers. Logs are rotated by size and kept only as long as required for those purposes.
Legal basis: legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and, where a request relates to a contract or pre-contractual exchange, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. No analytics, third-party scripts, automated decision-making, or profiling are used.
If monitor alerts are configured, they are sent from the service's own server through a self-hosted mailer that delivers directly to the recipient's mail provider over SMTP with DKIM signing. Alert emails can contain monitor names, target URLs, old and new observed values, and timestamps. No third-party email service processes these messages; the only external recipient is the configured destination mailbox and its mail provider.
Acceptable use
Monitors may only target URLs you are allowed to access and monitor. Do not monitor protected, paywalled, private, or personal-data sources without permission. Respect third-party terms, robots policies, copyright, and rate limits. Stored targets, headers, snapshots, events, and price history are deleted when the related monitor is deleted.
